Eid in Beppu (again)

Alhamdulillah! So happy that I could still enjoy Ramadan this year. May Allah let us experience it again next year 🙂

Here are some pics of the fireworks festival my friends and I went to a night before eid. We were so excited to go even though we’re in the middle of the exam week.

That was the first time I went out wearing yukata (Japanese traditional clothes). I got this lovely yukata set from my host family in Kyoto last year.

I treated myself a cup of shaved ice. It’s called kakigori in Japanese. There were grape, strawberry, orange, etc. but I chose mango flavor.

Alhamdulillah the weather was super nice last night. It wasn’t even hot because of the wind.

And… there comes the eid celebration in our Beppu Mosque!

Opor Ayam!
Opor Ayam!

Since this is the first time for me celebrating Eid al-Fitr on a school day, I was so excited to meet a lot of students in the mosque. Last year, only less than half of us stayed in Beppu.

Well, last but not least,

Eid Mubarak!!!!

Ramadhan in Beppu: a Midway Reflection

ifthar

Ramadhan 1435 H!
